Overview

In 2013, Time, Inc. was looking to overhaul the Time.com brand to emphasize the increased speed and volume of content published daily. I was hired as a consultant to help with UX and visual design.

While there were financial advantages to increasing the volume of published articles, there was concern early on that the quality of the content would suffer, and users would lose their place as larger stories unfolded.

To help users keep track of important stories, we proposed a story stream approach to topics that maintained a more comprehensive chronology of events and allowed editors to group related content quickly to improve reader experience.
